Mineral supplementaryfeed for foals, young horses and broodmares.

It contains collagen CHP, minerals, vitamin E and C, selenium and iodine for a proper nourishment and development of a foal and young horse skeleton and for nourishment and protection of pregnant and lactating mares.

Collagen hydrolysate peptides (CHP) are very important for a growth and development of bones, ligaments, tendons, hooves and joint cartilages. Collagen bonds minerals in bones. The more mineralized the collagen is, the harder, firmer and stronger a bones is.

Calcium, phosphorus and magnesium are very important for a growth and health of hard tissues. A proper physiologic ratio of these three elements is also important. If it is disturbed, serious disorders may occur. Mineralpony Baby supplies these minerals in a physiologic ratio 2,5 : 1 : 1,2 which corresponds to needs of a growing organism of a foal and a young horse. Mineralpony Baby contains a source of calcium in a highly soluble, absorbable and usable form of calcium chloride. 

Vitamin C is important for a normal production and function of all connective tissues. 

Selenium and vitamin E have a positive influence on a proper development and function of muscles. Selenium is important already during a fetal development. It can pass through the placenta, so we can prevent its deficiency in a foal by fortification of a mare feeding dose. The deficiency in new-born foals may manifest as a muscle weakness, ataxia, seeming paralysis, lying down and reluctance or inability to suck from a mother udder. 

Iodine is important mainly during a fetus development and is decisive for a normal development of the central nervous system. The deficiency of iodine may result in birth of week foals, later with growth disorders, poor-quality coat and swelling may also occur.

• in case of pain of spine – mare osteoporosis
• for a proper skeleton development of foals and young horses
• in case of insufficient or excessive growth with insufficient bone mineralization, against synovitis

Horse of weight 200 kg: 70 – 140 g
Horse of weight 300 kg: 100 – 200 g
Horse of weight 400 kg: 130 – 260 g
Horse of weight 500 kg: 140 – 340 g

Dosage depends on the weight of the foal and on the physiological requirements during the growth period. In case of mares we deliver the maximum dose - especially during lactation.

Feeding instructions: Serve the preparation to supplement the necessary minerals, vitamins, amino acids and peptides needed for proper nutrition and metabolism of the locomotory system of pregnant and breastfeeding mares, foals and young horses.
Apply the supplements daily from the second half of pregnancy, throughout the lactation and 1 month after the lactation. Serve to the foals daily after weaning until the ossification of the skeleton (end of growth).

Mineralpony Baby does not contain any substances considered to be horses doping.
Its administration is unlimited during the sport preparation and during the races.
